Graveyard of the Traficlights? - The Azore Islands, 1997

You may like the 'traficlights' or you may not like'em. But the view of the sea - the Atlantic Ocean - is excellent!

I visited this typical graveyard just before I began climbing Monte Escuro (on a bike). Monte Escuro isn't Alpe d'Huez - only approx. 800 m high. Nevertheless I would have preferred a proper mountainbike instead of the citybike the local travel agency, MELO, supplied.
